Kid’s rooms are so much fun to decorate. You can play around with color, which we certainly did in this bedroom. The inspiration for this room was the bedding. Sourced from Anthropologie, we used this as the starting point for the design. The boho pattern, colors and eclectic mix of designs set the tone for the room. To layer more texture, we sourced handmade bowls to hang on the wall as textural art. Whenever possible, we love using three dimensional art pieces. Over the dresser, we hung a hand-carved wood mirror with a distressed gold leaf finish. A woven bowl serves as a planter once again tying in that boho vibe. For seating, we replaced a nursery glider with a swivel chair in a rich rose color and a petal shaped back. This room embodies warmth, playfulness and creativity.
