This Elmhurst kitchen refresh was rooted in the idea that thoughtful updates can completely transform how a home lives day to day. Rather than starting from scratch, we focused on elevating what was already there, refinishing the existing cabinetry to bring new life and warmth while introducing quartzite countertops for a layer of natural movement and durability.

To better support a busy household, we also incorporated additional cabinetry, creating much-needed storage without compromising the clean, streamlined feel of the space. Every decision was made with intention, balancing function and aesthetics in a way that feels effortless.
Beyond the kitchen, the furnishings were selected to create a welcoming, livable environment with a refined point of view. Clean lines keep the spaces feeling fresh and uncluttered, while layered textures add warmth and depth.

Designing for a home with kids and dogs means durability is never an afterthought. It is part of the foundation. We leaned into performance fabrics, wood rugs, and resilient stone surfaces to ensure the home not only looks beautiful, but lives beautifully too.
